GANGL, Herbert / Guest Professor

My research area is centred around polylogarithms and in particular is focused on finding relations for (multiple) polylogarithms and multiple zeta values as well as for finite and infinitesimal versions of the former ones. Related topics concern algebraic K-groups for number rings, both proven and experimental/conjectural results, and algebraic cycles. Moreover, the dilogarithm gives a volume function for hyperbolic 3-space and lately I used tessellations of the latter for creating 3D-printed mathematical jewellery. (Professor Gangl will stay at Kyushu University until December 15.)
