TAKASE, Masahito / Associate Professor

In the field of the modern history of mathematics, I have principally studied the history of formation of number theory and function theory. The main topics are the reconstruction of Euler's infinitesimal calculus, the explication of "Tagebuch" of Gauss, the explication of Kronecker's number theory and the history of formation of Jacobi's Inverse Problem. In the field of mathematics, I have studied the forms of internally ramified existence domains of analytic functions of several complex variables, the relations between the Jacobian functions and Hilbert's 12th problem.
