電車・徒歩・クルマ・バス・飛行機などを組み合わせて、ドアtoドアで最適なルートを検索できるナビゲーションサービス「NAVITIME」等を提供するナビタイムジャパンは、創業者が大学時代に研究していた経路探索アルゴリズムをコア技術として、様々なナビゲーションに関するビジネスを展開しています。本講演では、どのように大学時代の研究をビジネスにつなげ、起業に至ったかを中心に、現在提供しているサービスや、今後のビジネス展開についてご紹介いたします。
Title：NAVITIME, the International Strategy : A research at the university led to the business promotion
Abstract:
NAVITIME JAPAN Co., Ltd. offers navigation contents services includes "NAVITIME", which allows users to search the fastest and most practical point-to-point travel route using various transportation methods(multi-modal), include walking, driving, and a range of public transport - including trains, subway/tube, buses and taxis. We operate various navigation businesses with a core of a route search algorithm which the founder president had studied in his college days. This speech mainly describes how the founder connected the research at the university to a new business and how he started a company. It also introduces our available services and future development.
