講演タイトル  :  車の技術研究における数学を活かした取組みと今後について

講演要旨：
お客様に喜ばれるカーライフの実現に貢献すべく、車の技術研究では様々な対象のメカニズム解明の取組みが実験やシミュレーションによって行われます。車を取り巻くものはPT・車両・材料系に留まらず、不確実性の高い社会環境やヒトに関する情報にも及びます。これら複雑な対象の効率的な理解を支えるために、高度な数学やデータ解析を活かす実践力が必要になります。講演者の学生時代から現在までの経験談を踏まえ、数学を活かせる可能性は幅広い対象にあること、また実際に活かす上で心掛けていることをお伝えし、今後の良い連携や交流のきっかけを後押しできればと思います。

Activities for Utilizing Mathematics in Automotive Technology Research and Future Plans
Abstract :
In order to contribute to the realization of a car life that pleases customers, activities for clarifying the mechanisms of various phenomena are carried out through experiments and simulations in automotive technology research. The phenomena surrounding automobiles are not limited to PT, vehicles, and material systems, but also include highly uncertain social environments and human information. To support efficient understanding of these complex phenomena, we need practical skills to utilize advanced mathematics and data analysis. Based on my experiences from my student days to the present, I would like to share with you the wide range of possibilities to utilize mathematics and what I keep in mind when I actually utilize it, and encourage good opportunities for future collaboration and exchange.
