講演タイトル：ビッグデータとオープンイノベーション
講演要旨：
近年、ビッグデータが注目されている。しかしながら、現状においてビッグデータの有効活用事例
が多数あるとは言い難い。実際、ガートナーのハイプサイクルによるとビッグデータは幻滅期に入
りつつあるとされている。一方、オープンイノベーションという概念が様々な領域、産業界および
学術界で成功をもたらしている。オープンイノベーションは外部の才能を活用し開発スピードを改
善することでイノベーションの創出を加速する。ビッグデータの効率的な活用にはオープンイノベ
ーションが必須と考えている。本講演では、ビッグデータおよびオープンイノベーションの現状に
ついて解説し、オープンイノベーションの一種であるクラウドソーシングによるビッグデータ問題
への取り組みについて紹介する。

Title：Big data and open innovation

Abstract:
The term 'big data' has been gaining a lot of attention recently. However, it is hard to say that there are many successful stories regarding big data under present circumstances. Actually, big data is entering the trough of disillusionment, according to Gartnaer's "Hype Cycle". On the other hand, the concept of "Open innovation" has been successful in various areas both in academia and in industry. Ｏpen innovation enables us to accelerate the creation of innovations by improvement of development speed using external talents. I believe that open innovation is essential for effective utilization of big data. In this lecture, I will talk about the current situation of big data and open innovation, and introduce the crowdsourcing-based data analysis service, which is one of open innovation approaches to solve big data problems.
