The Heegaard Floer homology (HF) for a bipartite graph, and its Euler characteristic, which we call the Alexander polynomial, have been studied by the speaker, and independently by Harvey and O’Donnol. In this talk, after briefly reviewing the definition of HF for a bipartite graph, we introduce a skein relation for the Alexander polynomial, which connects graphs of different types. The construction of the skein relation is motivated by the linear relations in the Murakami-Ohtsuki-Yamada graph polynomial.
