According to Heegaard splitting theorem the mapping class groups contain
all infromaitons of closed 3-manifolds. The collection of mapping class groups
forms a braided monoidal category, hence it gives rise to a double loop space.
I will introduce various analysis of braidings including a geometric expression of them.
I will also introduce famous Harer conjecture, its proofs, and a generalization of it.
