This talk is about locally analytic representations of p-adic reductive groups. We will begin by explaining their significance in the emerging p-adic Langlands program. These representations encompass the smooth representations and they are closely related to Lie algebra representations. For the latter there is a well-known localization theory due to Beilinson-Bernstein and Brylinski-Kashiwara. And for smooth representations P. Schneider and U. Stuhler have developed a localization theory. After briefly reviewing these constructions we will explain a simultaneous generalization of these theories for locally analytic representations.
