In this lecture, we will present first briefly the historical difficulties we had in designing multivariate encryption schemes. Then we will present our new design of the simple matrix multivariate encryption scheme, which are based on matrix multiplication of three matrices. We will explain the security analysis of the new schemes and show that they point to a very interesting new direction in developing provably secure multivariate encryption schemes.
