概要
DNA, the magic code of life, has been known for over 50 years
as genetic material of living systems.
Understanding of the chemical basis for the genetic role of DNA
has led to the explosive growth of molecular biology since 1950s
and its application in molecular biotechnology since the 1970s. In
recent works for high performance, DNA computing has considerable
attention as one of non-silicon based computing.
The aim of the talk is to establish interlinks among four different
subjects, namely mathematics, statistics, computer science and
bioinformatics. Using linear algebra, partially incomplete block
designs and DNA technology we develop a perfectly secure DNA secret
sharing scheme for threshold as well as for general access structure
in which a secret message may be distributed among a set of
participants in such a way that certain designated sets of
participants can reveal the secret message but certain designated sets
of participants have no information about the secret.
