概要
In this talk, I will introduce some recent studies on the Camassa-Holm equation, which is a shallow water model in 1-D. First, the profile of corresponding solution with compactly supported initial datum will be investigated. Then I will introduce a new and direct proof for McKean's theorem on wave breaking for the Camassa-Holm equation. Finally, I will discuss some open problems.
