My research interest is in mathematical physics, such as quantum topology, number theory, integrable system, and conformal field theory. Recent studies indicate that quantum invariants of links and 3-manifolds have a rich mathematical structure, and that they are related with hyperbolic geometry and mock theta functions. I also have an interest in topological quantum computation as an application of quantum topology.
