Title : Practical implementation of Biometrics

Abstract:
Biometrics is a technology used to automatically identify individuals using physiological features such as fingerprints and palm vein or behavioral features such as gait and handwriting. Biometric technologies are used as unlock of mobile device and as countermeasures of "identity spoofing" for banking. Recently, biometric identification using 1 to many matching enables solutions of cardless payment.

In this presentation, I show the description of biometric technology and the status of practical implementation of Biometrics in corporate business and banking. I also show "biometric information protection technology" for biometric information security that is strongly related to Mathematics and Cryptography. I introduce technical issues and solutions in order to expand the use of biometric identification technologies.
