Title: VR: Media of experience and visualization
Abstract:
The term VR (virtual reality) was used for the first time in 1989, but its surroundings became active in recent years. There are various factors such as basic hardware such as HMD becoming inexpensive and peripheral technology such as omnidirectional camera improved. There is no doubt that the degree of recognition will improve dramatically.
VR is called as a technology of experience. When trying to understand something, it is important to try various things. By visualizing our thought to the outside by action, we should be able to act much smarter. Since VR can create a world different from the real, this technology should be effective. In my presentation, I will explain the features of VR's technology, and I would like to think about the meaning and possibility of VR technology in basic technology should be effective.
