Title:Mathematical Science Research and its application in IBM Research - Tokyo
 
Abstract:
Mathematical sciences or simply analytics is one of the major focuses of IBM Corporation. This is because analytics can be a key differentiator for information technology infrastructures. Analytics technologies including operations research and machine learning have a tremendous business potential that may even create a new business market. In this talk, I will share the overview of Mathematical Science Group at IBM Research - Tokyo. In particular, I will talk about some of the latest research projects in sensor data analytics and transportation research.
