The IMI Colloquium in February | Date:Wednesday, 19 February 2014 16:45-17:45 lecture | Place:Lecture Room L-1 (3F, IMI, Kyushu University) | Speaker:Shinichi ISHIZUKA (Cybernet Systems Co., Ltd.) | | Title:Control System Design Approach Based on Simultaneous Pertubation Stochastic Approximation | | Abstract: PID control has various advantages on practical use with high robustness, needlessness plant model, and has been a major method in industrial world. However, there is disadvantage on taking a long time to tune the PID parameters because of trial and error approach to tune them. As parameter definition methods, several approaches have been presented as Ziegler-Nichols method or optimization, but they did not suit for online tuning working in real-time. In this presentation, I will explain Simultaneous Perturbation Stochastic Approximation (SPSA) algorithmand extend to suit to onlin tuning, and demonstrate the practicability to time varying systems. In addtion, I will present auto tuning model-based controller scheme applying SPSA too. | | IMI Colloquium Report | |
