Abstract:
In the industrial world, it is important to optimize several objectives such as cost, quality, safety and environmental impact. A multi-objective optimization problem is an optimization problem for such several objective functions. In this talk, we give a topological property of the set of optimal solutions of a strongly convex problem of class C^1. Moreover, we also introduce an application of Singularity Theory to the problem.
This talk is based on joint work mainly with Naoki Hamada.
