Title :
 Financial markets through statistical modeling

Abstract :
The series of financial crises began with the global economic crisis triggered by the Lehman's bankruptcy in 2008, and were followed by the European debt crisis that spread from the revelation of financial difficulties in Greece. Since then, sudden changes of financial markets and economies around the world have been often caused by an economic problem and event in one country. In the talk, by capturing the fluctuation structure of financial markets through statistical modeling, some results investigating the background of their changes will be introduced.
