Abstract:
It is known that oriented knots can be colored by quandles and that the number of such colorings by a quandle is an invariant of oriented knots. In this talk, we construct a new quandle from a given quandle X using an X-bilinear form on a vector space, investigate colorings associated with it, and discuss its relationship with colorings by the original quandle X.
