Abstract:
The q=1 limit of the Askey scheme is well known. There is however less trivial q=-1 limit of the same scheme. We give a review of recent results in this area. The Bannai-Ito scheme (i.e. the limiting case of the Askey scheme) is presented . Applications to perfect state transfer in quantum informatics are considered.
