Operator-algebraic construction of integrable QFT with bound states

We review recent constructions of a class of interacting two-dimensional Haag-Kastler nets with factorizing S-matrix. The Tomita-Takesaki modular theory of von Neumann algebras plays a crucial role in this program. Then we present our attempts to models whose S-matrix has poles. We introduce an operator which implements the bound state structure and argue that its self-adjointness would lead to the full construction of the models.
