Staff Introduction

I study nonlinear partial differential equations, especially nonlinear diffusion equations.
My main research interest consists in describing some mechanisms affected by nonlinear structures of equations. Singularity formation such as blow-up and aggregation phenomena is one of the most remarkable properties arising in nonlinear problems.I have been recently studying aggregation phenomena in a chemotaxis system and blow-up mechanisms in harmonic map heat flow coming from the problem of minimizing Dirichlet energy. The goal of my study is to reveal, by means of asymptotic methods and dynamical system point of view, some remarkable features on the behavior of solutions affected by nonlinear structures of equations.
