Staff Introduction

YASUDA, Masaya / Associate Professor

With recent development of usage of the cloud, cryptographic technologies with both data protection and high functionality are now being required. Homomorphic encryption is public key encryption with supporting additions and multiplications on encrypted data, and I am researching on it as a practical tool for data protection. Moreover, the security of recently proposed homomorphic encryption schemes is based on the computational hardness of finding shortest vectors in a certain lattice, and I am interested in evaluating the computational hardness. In addition, I am researching on mathematical cryptography such as elliptic curve cryptography and also on algebraic geometry for cryptography.
