Staff Introduction
KONISHI, Takuya / Assistant Professor
I work in the field of machine learning. Machine learning is a set of methods or the research field for making predictions and discovering knowledge from observed data. Machine learning algorithms and techniques are widely applied to related fields in recent years. My particular interests include the development of new probabilistic models and inference algorithms in statistical machine learning and their applications to data mining. I'm also recently interested in differentiable optimization, which is a bridging research topic of machine learning and mathematical optimization.
