MAESONO, Yoshihiko / Guest Professor

I mainly study the asymptotic theory of statistical inferences and its applications to economic data. I also study resampling methods (jackknife and bootstrap) theoretically. From 1996 to 1997, I was a member of the Japan-Australian joint research "Computer intensitive statistics: Biostatistics and its mathematics" sponsored by Japan Society for the promotion of science. I teach both undergraduate and graduate students mathematical statistics. I also teach first course mathematics. I organize a seminar of quality control and standardization in Fukuoka, that is hold by Japan Standards Association.
